Horses for sale
All Horses for sale are open to any trainers or vets to assess suitability of your requirements. Most horses are fully vetted prior to importation from abroad however we recommend all horses are re-vetted prior to purchase. Horses taken for sale on behalf of clients are not always pre-vetted.
Horses for sale on behalf of clients will be stated as such. Information and breeding regarding such horses will be supplied by their owner. Any contract remains solely between the current owner and prospective purchaser. It is up to the client and his associates to decide whether the horse is suitable for their needs and requirements.
A client can secure any horse by payment of its training livery, which will take the horse off the market until the vetting is done. The training livery will not be refunded should the buyer not proceed with the purchase of the horse or change their mind. If paying the training livery option is not taken, the horse will remain on the market for other buyers to proceed on a ‘first come first serve basis’.
We strongly recommend insurance is taken out for your new horse as soon as the purchase has been agreed as we cannot be held liable for any accidents, illness or injury, however caused. Insurance can be arranged by us if required with a reputable equine insurance broker.
Any balance of payment is due within five days after passing the vetting by cleared funds or training livery charge will be added. No horse may be removed from Assouline Equine Services Ltd premises until funds are fully cleared.
After the balance has been paid we request that horses are collected within three days. Horses left at Assouline Equine Services Ltd premises after this time will be liable for livery charges.
Whilst we make every effort to ensure accuracy of all information, including photos and videos on our website, errors may occur occasionally. The details presented within are offered as a guideline only and do not form part of any contract or offer for sale. This does not replace due diligence on behalf of the buyer.
All horses are sold as seen. No warranty is offered or implied for any horse unless specifically stated at time of purchase and put in writing.
It is down to buyers and their associates to decide whether they are skilled enough to trial-ride horses presented for sale. All horses are tried and assessed at your own and your associates risk. We reserve the right to withdraw any horse from viewing or sale at any time. A hard hat must be worn at all times when trying horses.
