Dressage Training of Horse and Rider
Michel and Mette both have considerable experience as dressage trainers having produced dressage riders and horses from Novice to Grand Prix level. Their different training backgrounds (mostly German but also Scandinavian and French) provide a huge pool of techniques from which to draw upon whilst each provides the other with an alternative outlook when discussing specific horse or rider problems.
They get real satisfaction and pleasure from producing combinations at all levels and offer training of riders and dressage horses at their premises in Essex in the form of individual dressage tuition.
They can also look after your horse while you are away on a short or long term basis and carry on fulfilling his training process. Horses can be stabled at the dressage livery yard for concentrated courses.
Horses can be stabled at the dressage livery yard for training livery and concentrated courses. They also offer private tuition at Brickhouse Farm for visiting clients with horses not stabled at Brickhouse farm; shared lessons for two riders can also be arranged (There are no dressage schoolmaster horses to offer and tuition can only be given on clients' own horses).
In addition they can travel to you for dressage clinics after special arrangement; dressage demonstrations can also be organised.
Our dressage training facilities include: 20x60m indoor school (Equestrian Surfaces 'Gel Track') with a catering-ready heated viewing gallery, 20x60m all weather outdoor arena, 18m all weather lunging arena, 24m diameter indoor walker, all weather turn out/play pen, small individual grass paddocks, off-road hacking and large hard base HGV car park. Quotes
Jane McGarel Groves, owner of Anastasia, Michel's most successful international horse:
"Michel has helped me and trained my horses for nearly twenty years. He has a clear and sound method of training which is adapted to suit the individuality of each horse to enable them to achieve their full potential happily and without stress. This is evidenced by his training of my horse Annastasia from a gangly four year old to a successful international Grand Prix Horse, the starting on the road of my next young horse Demi Jour who was the Preliminary National Champion as a 5 year old and helping me to train and ride my current horse through from Advance Medium to Inter 1 so that I could achieve my goal competing in top hat and tails."
