Mette Assouline
Mette started her International career in 1989 when she qualified her horse Question for the Danish Team. With her most successful horse, the Swedish bred Ilon she represented Denmark at the 1997 Aachen CDIO in Germany before achieving many wins and placings at CDI and CDIO Grand Prix level in Holland, Germany and France.
She is a regular competitor on the national and international circuit as she concentrates bringing on younger horses up to Grand Prix.
With Prinz Hermann, Hanoverian by Prinz Orak they had a very successful year in 2000 with placings at CDIO level in small tour classes and won the 2000 Hickstead Derby Intermediaire I.
In 2006 with Enzian, a 10 year Westphalian by Erhentanz they won a Hickstead Master League Intermediaire I, and were placed 7th and 6th at the UK National Championships in Prix Saint Georges and Intermediaire I. In 2007 they were placed internationally in Grand Prix and won the Intermediaire II class at the Saumur CDI*** in France.

Fluent in Danish, German and English, she has produced many top level young horses both at home and abroad and is an experienced judge of Young Dressage Horse classes.
Based in England for the last fifteen years, Mette has become a highly respected trainer of horses and riders at all levels.

Mette's current ride Forrest Gump, a breeding Westphalian stallion by Florestan was UK's 2007 Young Horse International Reserve Champion. In 2009 they are competing at small tour level (Prix Saint Georges and Inter I) where they have winnings up to 70%.
